Roadway to Durham
Durham, holds a historic importance is a petite county in the North East England. I have been to Durham couple of times as I used to stay at Newcastle Upon Tyne which was just around an hour journey.
I instantly started adoring this place. Beautiful cafes along the river-side, gigantic castles, intricate cathedrals, all added to the relaxing aspect of this place. The place is quite and serene.
“One can meditate here with their eyes open.”
View from the Top
So soothing and serene is the view from the Durham Cathedral. The spot is perfect for taking pictures, relaxing or just showing gratitude to the ALMIGHTY.
The tower at the end of nave. A part of Durham Cathedral which also holds its place in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Random back alleyway. Work in Progress, but provided me with a rugged shot.
Standing tall and high amidst the lush greens is the famous Durham Castle. It is now recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proud Moment.
Durham sits on the effortless and unconfined river Wear, surrounded by Sunderland, Newcastle upon Tyne and Darlington.
The Conventional Picture
This is the most common image one can find if they search Durham. This is Durham Shopping Mall. What an alluring location.
